STUDENTS topics-Activities in the project

Learning and preperation in Meiningen, Germany November 2014

In Germany the aim of the meeting for students were to get to know other students, to talk about learning and preperation for the meeting. The main issue for the teachers was to make agreements for the upcoming meetings in general, to take part in "Information literacy, part 1" and to get to know other teachers in the project. The students introduced their school, and gave some information about their country. During the school week at school they took part in lessons and they dis some other activities.

FESTIVITIES

The main issue in Greece was to present another country, their flag and their anthem. It was based on information given by the country each group of students should present and information they had obtained. Most of the students used power point to present and showed small video clips from Youtube. We all agreed that we in our next meeting should use more local information. This time the information felt a little bit like information in general. We think that local information can give the project more recognizable, more intimate realtionship to the local society we ought to present. Put another way, students can get a better understanding how the local society is.

SPORT, the activity in Adana, Turkey May 2015

For the students the main issue this time was to present sport in another country. All the students who took part in Adana meeting had to prepare a presentation of what is typical sports in the local area they should present.

For instance, Norway should presentate Spain, tell about what kind of sports the spanish students in their hometown use to do. It all was based on information the spanish sent to Norway. The norwegian then had to use the facts and make the presentation.

Every presentation is based on dead lines, information given, sending and communicate, and upload photos and so on. Most of the countries need to collaborate better, the students have to be more activ, try to find out how problems can be solved and so on. That is also one of the main skills in this project. Try to collaborate, try to get in contact, use digital communication and platforms to fulfill a project. Some countries was very good, other countries have to involve each other better, communicate better, be better to keep dead lines and solve problems. Collaboration was the main 21st Centurty skills in this trip.

Leiria in Portugal

"festivities and problems solving"

In Leiria in Portugal the students concentrated on ready made papers about "Festivities". At home all the countries participated had made a paper or video they performed or showed for the audience. The audience was the other students and the teachers involved in the project. Each country must present a charing country. It means that Norway had to present Portugal, and Portugal had to present Norway. And the other countries did the same with their sharing school or country.

The subject "festivities" was about local happenings. Local happenings like pop-festivals, music-festivals and other events. The portuguese told about Fyrverkerifestivalen, Færderseilasen, Vervenfesten og Slottsfjellfestivalen. The norwegian had made a great video about happenings in Leiria. The video is possible to download or play using the link at this  page. Se below!

The presentations or papers are still not good enough. The studenst presentation are mostly power points presentations and very traditionally. It is possible to make better presentation or other presentations than using PP.

The norwegian made a video, and that video was very good, and a kind of  innovated presentation. Both students and teachers want to have more different type of presentations, and we should. I think the next meeting can be a possible meeting to try something new.

Meeting in Spain (Febr 2016)

This text is from the part of the events where all students and teachers without students should presentate something form their own country. It had to be a song, some music, reading a poem or someting folkloric. Norway did not bring students and we presented a part of the novel SNOWMAN by Jo Nesbø. This novel is for the time being filmed in Norway. Partly in Oslo. The movie will show up on cinemas during xmas time 2016 or early 2017. Its a crime novel and is a best seller.

Meeting in POLAND 25th SEPT to 1st of OCT 2016

The meeting in Poland was a historical trip in many ways. We went to great city Krakow with its beautiful buildings and streets, the Salt mines in Wielicka and went down 134 meters and saw the great cathedral and the stairs and we licked at the wall to feel the salt. The trip also went to both Auschwitz I and II (also known as Birkenau. The trip was great and very memorable, and both students and teachers were grateful for the trip.

The days in Poland was also meeting at schools. The first day the student presented their works about music, and it was great. Students did a well presentation thinking about standing in front of close to 100 unknown persons on a stage in a cinema. I feel they did a great performance. The school also prepared for a meeting about innovative learning, and we all got new experience here.

The great sharing dinner was , as always , a very good performance in music, dancing and food. All the parents had made their utmost to make us feel well and eat good. Thank you very much for the polish hospitality

SLOVAKIA JANUARY 15th to January 21st 2017

SLOVAKIA was the second lst country to meet, and it was in the middle or should we say in the center of the winther time with all time high cold and snowy winther i Slovakia.

Gymnázium - Gimnázium Kráľovský Chlmec was the aim of the place we should stay for some day. The school was situated close to the centre of the little town  Chlmec. During the days in Slovakia we should meet many nice students and teachers, we was able to visit a wine cellar, and we visited a place close to High Tatra called Tricklandia. We also visited Košice, Levoča – Town Hall and the ice show in High Tatra. All in all we had great winter weather, cold but still like coming home to Norway.

The visit was interesting, amazing and a culture going back to the east block time too since a lot of the city structure and buildings built during the cold war still represented the past and all gone east block time.

The Netherlands

In The  Netherlands we went to the little city of Almelo some place in the North-East of The Netherlands. It was in March 2017 and the very last meeting was to begin and end after seven days. Mostly the weather was like "it always was" in Almelo according to the teachers and students, little rainy and cloudy spiced up with windy weather except for one occasion, when we was in Amsterdam. That day really made us wet and cold, and the trip to the climbing park outside Almeleo against all odds turned up to be a really good summer day.

We got a pretty good week with trips to Amsterdam, the park, saw some wind mills and had some funny activities at school. The dutch teacher and the students and their parents tried to do their best,as always, and the last dinner was really great for both teachers, students and parents.

Goodbye Erasmus, You gave all of us a really interesting and memorable trip for all of us taken part in the Erasmus+ 2014-2017. We will never forget U.
