Meeting in Portugal October 2015
Posted November 2015
City: Leiria

The trip to Leiria 2 hours south of the capitol Lisboa was without students. The reason is that the norwegian students only shall visit five countries; Germany, Greece, Turkey, Poland and at last Netherland. This goal or mission for this trip was to talk about "Festivities" and problemsolving. The students had presentetations about local festivities like pop-festivals, summer events, other special events that is typical for the place they live. For instance, Norway talked about what happend in Horten during the year, the germans about what happens in Meiningen and so on. The issue the teacher had to talk about was "problem solving". How to deal with difficult issues both in school and in private companies. The main point was to show how the portuguese school solved problems or what challenges they had with pupils with individual needs.

The scool in Leiria. Situated close to the city. The school had a nice buliding, was pretty big, had a bi yard for activities. No football arena btw.

To the right you can see a view from a local church
This church was on a top of a hill and had a
beautiful view to the city.

Below you can see the thursday events at school.
This event was a dinner mad by the parents to
show their interest in the project and to show their
great hospitality. Great food, nice people and a

In Slovakia the activities should be MIGRATION. The students had made their presentation for almost the last time. In many ways they did a very good presentation. Slovakias presentation had made an interwiev with some refugees from among Syria. Slovakia presented the migration project very well. Mostly all countries had tried to make a domestic presentation using information given by the sharing pairs. For instance, Norway presentated Czech Republic and Czech Republic presented the norwegians. Unfortunately there are still some problems during the presentations. The voice is often very low, and some countries could be better doing the presentation in a way that sounds less "google copy". So, some countries have more to learn. Anyway, all over the countries who make the presentation as we agreed have done a very good job.

Slovakia January 15th to 21st 2017

The stay in Slovakia made us understand that even if a country dosnt have all the resources that seems  to be as common in some western countries; the warm, the happiness, the beautiful areas, the great cities and the good food and  hospitality is even more visible here than other places. So thank u very much CHLMEC!

The last meeting i ALMELO The Netherlands

The last meeting in the land of the flying Dutchmen took place in the city of Almelo between march 5th and 11th.It started in a cold and snowing day at the airport in Sandefjord, worst day ever in March 2017. But during the flight to Amsterdam the weather became better and we landed in normal dutch weather according to our dutch friends, normal dusk rain. During the trip in The Netherlands we took part i some really funny events. The most  memorable for all of us was indeed Amsterdam because we didnt see anything. The weather was like a rainy top ten rain day in Amsterdam, it was awful, the day just rained off. So Amsterdam was noothing else than looking down to the ground, getting wet and freezy, but the next great event was the tree climbing close to Almelo. It was really a nice day, sun was shining, trees was waiting for us and we all had a really nice experience from top of the trees. People had lots of fun, and for those with Veretigo it was no other option staying on the ground. meeting the Netherlands was very nice, the student had a fine time, and the teachers so, and the Canisius school was very nice and the teacher arranging the evnets did their best to keep us in a good mood every day. Greetings to all of U from all of US and then the Erasmsu project close the door for a great time together with the germans, the dutch, the spanish, the polish, the portuguese, the turkish, the czech, the slovakians, the greeks and norwegians.

Best regards from Flavio og Ida:)
